Large popular pub, especially at lunch time. Sells real ale. Very friendly staff. Serves lunch & evening meals. Has a kids area. One woman, at the next table, her voice sounded like Vera Duckworth from Coronation Street. That was back in June.

Take care parking on the square outside the Ty. They have wheel clampers at work even on the Ty`s own slots. Half an hours parking and then £176 to be released. Thats from spring 2007.
I have stopped using the place for this reason.

one doesn't expect to get great service anywhere in Cornwall, and this place is no exception.

Beer here was in good condition.
Food was nice but not the biggest portion of cheesy chips in the world for £2:50. Close to the beach with a nice patio area. Good mixture of locals and holiday makers.
