Beer well kept, staff friendly, good atmosphere.

A large imposing pub located on a large roundabout at the end of New Malden High Street. It has a large L-shaped lounge with a generous sized bar. The lounge has comfortable seating and pleasant decor. A fair selection of real ales. I had a beer from Purity which was very citrusy and not to my taste. However the pub is well worth a visit.

Visited last night. St Austell Tribute, Adnams Bitter, London Pride and one other mainstream beer. Quality was generally average. Large pub, sports showing.

Was forced into the place due to the real ale heaven down the road called Woodies having no Sky Sports 2....and it has improved a bit, decour new but plastic, hand-pulls on, which I don't remember from last time, and choice not bad (Landlord and Mad Goose 2 of the 4). Age range of customers on the bordering on legal side but a decent sized TV screen without overload volume. Still wouldn't choose to go but might reconsider it as a fall-back if required.

Heard that - although the pub has recently been refurbished - its on a short lease & will be sold off to build offices & flats in 2012/3
