| Friendly no-frills village local, and for this I rated this pub the best in the local area. During our visit, the locals were all keenly watching Southampton's visit to Wembley to play Carlisle on the small TV. Four real ales were on - Wadworth Strong in the Arm & Henry's IPA, Manns St George & the Dragon and Clatford Nameless. Cider was Stowford Press. | Changed hands very recently - what a difference! Good traditional pub favourites on the menu and home-made too. The real ales are well kept with guest beers adding to the variety. The new tenants have certainly put this pub back on the "must visit" list. anonymous - 7 May 2007 14:21 |
