Sorry, the below comment is not The Fox, North Waltham. We do not have a Barman, only girls and we have had no one being shortchanged. Jaz19 - 9 Dec 2011 19:31
At the outset this is a pleasant friendly pub with a good selection of real ales. BEWARE! A friend of mine was "short changed" by the barman, who then tried to brazen it out by insisting that "he had a system" to prevent this. Eventually, after being confronted again, when he again insisted on his "system" being right, he finally gave the correct change. jbsjazzer - 9 Dec 2011 15:17
Lovely seating area outside with a great view over the Hampshire countryside. Great selection of well kept beer. My missus says the food is very good as well. Great pub, must go back soon EdBeery - 3 May 2011 11:07
We are quite local and visit quite regularly (though I would not say it is "our local"). The beer is always fantastic, with new ales regularly appearing. The food is very very good indeed. The bar area is small-ish but cosy, but the beer garden is large and beautiful with no traffic noise and perfect for sitting out in the summer. I could not wish for more from a pub - 10/10. eriksmate - 7 Oct 2010 13:12
The landlord of this place knows which side his bread is buttered and the pub bar is tiny compared to the restaurant. Saying that, the food is very good and well worth a visit. Expect to get turfed out if you have an early table as they do get very busy. I would also advisenot to get in the way of the locals when they are trying to watch sport in the bar. They really don't like it.... Goggs102 - 7 Apr 2010 22:42
