Well this place has closed down and has signs plastered outside saying it is to reopen as the glass house part of the l'auberge restaurant. wow great for new malden just hope they have plenty of bouncers to get rid of the locals that previously ruined quite a nice looking pub. dugongs2 - 24 Jun 2008 14:53
On the whole an alright pub, tv's, pool tables etc. but have felt pretty unwelcome once or twice when I went in recently. Might have been unlucky but me and my mate got the impression we were not welcome at all in there. Outside got shouted at by the same blokes from a car driving off! Not good, just wanted a drink not the attitude. anonymous - 12 Jun 2007 14:24
I have to agree it seems to have turned the corner now it comfortable and clean with great views of the plasma and big screen from the new big high tables along the wall darken - 26 Apr 2007 08:09
Certainly better than a lot of its press, aimed at sport - at least six screens. Sort of 'The Malden Tup' without actually being called that. Deuchars IPA palatable on a warm day. beeronaut - 15 Apr 2007 18:37
The railway used to be a dive. Popped in there on the way home to watch another disappointing England performance. I must admit I was pleasantly suprised, the scum had gone, the beer improved and overall experience was much more enjoyable. p.s. clean the beer lines please woodiesregular - 13 Apr 2007 17:12 |
