| Been living in the area for 2 years and only just discovered this place. What a find, 3 real ales all well kept (Harveys, Tim Taylors and one other on rotation), never seems to be overcrowded, friendly staff, etc., etc... 8/10 and that's probably being mean. notters - 4 Sep 2009 15:16 |
| went in here (twice)on simon price's recommendation. first time was a thursday afternoon and it was empty apart from me and the bar man. lovely time, listening to primal scream and dean martin. second time, they were showing football and the pub was rammed full of tossers! dreadful experience. so recommend you go during the week goffboy - 4 May 2008 12:33 |

| The first time I walked in, they were playing "Modern Love" by David Bowie, followed by "Generation Sex" by The Diving Comedy. I knew I was going to like it here.
