| Booked for 7.30pn 28/09, arrived 7.25 given menus and drinks Saw noone for HALF AN HOUR!!!-got so fed up decided to leave-tried to pay for drinks -again noone there-a rubbish place. | Andy, who used to work there, has now bought the pub from the Spirit Group and turned it into a gastro pub. We walked in on a wet saturday night to find we were the only ones simply drinking. Average main course £15.95.Great shame as the three of us used to pop in for a sandwich or meal depending on how hungry we were. Now I simply can't afford to go there. | Excellent pub - easily one of the best in the area with good management, regular and honest locals and ale of high quality. Very busy on Bank Holidays with a good atmosphere. Service is usually first rate. Well worth a visit. Mcloj - 25 Sep 2006 13:56 |
