| stayed overnight in buckfastleigh 21st sept and visited the globe and kings arms before the white hart. a choice of 2 real ales including dartmoor jail ale were available. liked this pub and after the 1st pint felt, relaxed enough to stay for a few more. found the landlady, barman and the locals that i met very friendly. dazfromlondon - 30 Sep 2010 21:09 |

| HAPPY AND COSY PUB! We moved to and lived in Buckfastleigh from Oct 08 to June 09. We are mature students from the West Midlands studying in Devon. The White Hart is now run by a lovely lady called Dawn (and her charming spaniel Buster). She is the most welcoming of hosts. Having felt very unwanted at the Globe Inn (roughly opposite) we have found the White Hart to be a cosy and welcoming place - ever excited to see us return- and we will!
