| Visited during the island games, not a great selection of beer (lager or cider about it) but one of the few places in St Helier open till late (2am) was full of posh city boys comparing the price of their blazers, not joking!,when we visited. | Very disappointed that all the bars (I think there are 5)stock standard national products (the usual lagers and keg beers) and not one local brew. I would not expect real ale in every bar but the "public bar" could at least have had one local cask beer? I would have used it then instead of going to the other pubs round the corner and across the road. Anyway - the hotel is superb for accomodation and position (and a buffet brilliant breakfast )and we really enjoyed staying there. Top class!! mcroyal - 16 Jun 2012 13:01 |
| Great location but not much of a place to go to for a drink. Despite advertising that the bar is open to non residents note that the toilets aren't! We were told to leave the pub, cross through the bus station, cross the car park and go to the public toilets. theory900 - 26 May 2006 15:00 |
