| It has taken me ages to get round to visit this pub and the place was really quite pleasant. It is a modern pub with a foodie vibe but there were drinkers in there and plenty of places to sit and have a pint. Three ales on which is good for a pub this size. Lympstone is a pleasant village where you can do a mini pub crawl using a very handy train station right in the centre of the village. 8/10 montie49 - 11 Aug 2019 09:49 |

| Nice pub, recently refurbed and a bit more "Restauranty" than "Pubby", but good beer selection, 4 plus ales 4 ciders and good grub. Plus the benefits of being a free house means good beer prices, currently an ale for about �2.60 always on the tap, which is a cracker. The Palmers is good and they also have "Chalkies Bite" on from Rick Stein, which has a slightly ginger tang and is great with food. Worth a try and good garden and parking available.
