| The recent refurb has turned this place into a restaurant. You are ushered to your table as soon as you walk in. Overall the staff are good, sometimes its a struggle to get service at the bar, though. Badger ales are well kept, though there is a reluctance to change a barrel if it runs out. | Another real ale pub with a good landlord to boot. Roaring fires and dog friendly. If your a big mouth Yuppie, I guess you will get a frosty reception, but in the main a nice quiet pub with a rugby club next door if ou fancy a game! Barkingspider - 1 Jun 2006 15:43 |
