The large glass of wine only policy (only 250ml measures) here is highly annoying. Service here is slow and often borders on rude and on that basis, I've stopped going. jonjonjon - 17 Aug 2009 13:06 |
It's alright but no decent bitters and when I ordered a glass of wine a massive glass arrived full almsot to the brim as if it was coca cola. Next round I ordered a small glass of wine .. "we don't serve small glasses of wine, only large" came the reply, which I think is irresponsible. A day or so later the issue of serving oversize alcohol measures came up on the news, for health reasons, and a rep from the licensing trade defended serving large glasses by saying it was all about "choice" .. I fail to see how only serving one massive serving of wine is somehow "choice" ..?! Ullage - 14 Apr 2008 11:17 |
I tried out the jazz brunch last Sunday and was really impressed. Perfect way to recover after a boozy Saturday. We were the first there, so did benefit from everything being very fresh. The food ranged from a good selection of fruit, through to a full cooked breakfast (with eggy bread!) Would definitely go back. anonymous - 21 May 2007 17:08 |
S'alright. Prefer PB. anonymous - 22 Mar 2007 14:39 |
quite liked it as well - not as popular as PB down the road - hope it stays that way... anonymous - 5 Mar 2007 11:14 |
