| I've never had a good pint here, almost everyone I've had has tasted like vinegar. You get a few young-types playing boring acoustic music and occasional poetry, if you like that sort of thing. It's a pub which seems to think that it's far more than it actually is - it's a sort of fake Irish pub; although I'm not questioning the owners and their background, but something seems unutterably fake about this place. One to be avoided. Instead go to somewhere that serves a decent keg of beer and has an atmosphere which is genuine and unforced; where the music is complimentary rather than the focus - a real pub, in other words. photek - 10 Aug 2009 17:55 |
