A sympathetically renovated pub with Thai restaurant attached. Beers were London Pride, Spire and Ramsbury, I tried the latter and it was in excellent condition as was the Thai hot and sour king prawn soup. A good atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff. There are a number of different rooms, the toilets are superb too! See website for menu and pictures of the pub. Feed - 16 Aug 2011 18:26
Really nice pub. Large car park. Was given a friendly greeting, open log fires, good staff and the whole place was clean and welcoming. 3 REAL ALES on, london pride, an adnams bitter and ramsbury gold. Had the ramsbury which was in good form with an excellent thai green curry . Bill was reasonable. The toilets were also very modern and clean and on this visit there was very little to fault wrinkley - 18 Jan 2011 22:32
Until today, the last time I entered this place I was only 15 years old. 10 years later, was surprised to visit here again. The place is fantastic. Bar staff are extremely polite and welcome, the real ale is fantastic although a bit pricey (£3.20 average) - but the pub is amazing. Will attempt to try the food on my next visit. robfrancis - 24 Apr 2010 18:30
Amazing thai food in a pub atmosphere. Well worth a trip off the beaten track to find it. Prickly - 7 Feb 2010 20:59
Hear the boys from Front Page Pubs have bought it and are currently refurbishing it. They'll be doing Thai food and have got their top girl out there to run it. Sound like a winning formula. matthewjnicol - 27 Nov 2007 20:50
