user reviews of the Queens Hotel, Lytham St Annes

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Despite the deplorable language of the previous reviewer, he / she is fairly accurate. We went in before Christmas. Despite being very quiet, it took about ten minutes to get a pint. The barman seemed irritated that we'd bothered him. The beer was dishwater.

Went in here for a fuckin quiet pint on a fuckin sunday evening. The fuckin staff were fuckin obnoxious and fuckin ugly and was short fuckin changed on my 3 visits to the fuckin bar. When i complained to the manager he told me to fuck off if i didnt like it, and i happily obliged.

I went there from work one sunny lunchtime. They couldn't cope. They stopped taking orders for meals - great! The staff were short tempered. The Speckled Hen was awful. I gave it a second chance a few weeks later in the evening. It still took ages to get served. The beer was terrible. Considering the prime location, this place needs a kick up the arse.

Great all round pub. small nicely kept selection of real ales, Brilliant food cooked by the landlady, the best staff in lytham and a top class juke box!
