| Despite the deplorable language of the previous reviewer, he / she is fairly accurate. We went in before Christmas. Despite being very quiet, it took about ten minutes to get a pint. The barman seemed irritated that we'd bothered him. The beer was dishwater. Terry_W - 23 Jan 2007 22:58 |
| I went there from work one sunny lunchtime. They couldn't cope. They stopped taking orders for meals - great! The staff were short tempered. The Speckled Hen was awful. I gave it a second chance a few weeks later in the evening. It still took ages to get served. The beer was terrible. Considering the prime location, this place needs a kick up the arse.
