Recently sold - no food, no accomodation, much reduced real ale choice, rather lairy landlords "friends" clogging up the bar - not impressed..

i used to work here and i agree with all the statements bout time it had sum decent owners/managers

THRILLED THAT THESE 2 UNPRETENTIOUS PEOPLE HAVE WON THE RIGHT TO RUN THIS QUAINT OLD CHARMER.
ITS ABOUT TIME IT HAD SOME DECENT MANAGERS IN TO GET RID OF THE RIFF RAFF ELEMENT THAT USED TO FREQUENT THE PLACE.
IT REALLY IS A FANTASTIC PUB WITH LOTS OF CHARACTER AND THEY ARE MAKING A REALLY GOOD JOB OF RUNNING IT.
MONIAS COOKING IS GREAT AND STUARTS ORGANISATIONAL SKILLS ARE REALLY BEING PUT TO GOOD USE.

first class family pub with a great selection of real ales. Friendly staff and atmosphere, highly recommended.
