Mainstream beers - Tetleys and Deuchars when I was in. Can get very busy and crowded and noisy with students and sportspeople but one of the better pubs in this part of Sheffield. Despite being frequently busy the barstaff are attentive and efficient - you should not have to wait long to get served. Good town pub with all the flashing lights of the one armed bandit, quiz machine, juke box and TV's if you like that sort of thing. Thirsty_Jonny - 16 May 2008 15:20
My local, currently. Friendly staff. Good quizzes on Monday and Tuesday, and a good-sized telly for the sport. Awesome jukebox, too. £2 for 9 selections certainly isn't bad. sleb - 17 Feb 2007 20:25
A decent traditional pub with OK beer. Usually frequented by students but some locals still there. A big screen for sport. andyshire - 30 Apr 2006 15:34
