We came across The Boathouse while on our narrow boat, fantastic beer garden full of bloom clean tidy and inviting.
The Management & Staff we more than friendly and made us all feel very welcome.
Excellent beer, the menu is really good value for money and lots of it.
Live bands advertised for Saturday nights and they offer Skittle Parties with basket meals.
We will not hesitate to return, well done.

What a fantastic Pub, we were there Saturday 6th June, the beer was excellently kept and the food menu exceptionally good value for money.
We were made very welcome by the landlord and staff, very clean and kept to a good standard.
It's located next to the canal with a very good beer garden and childrens play area.
Something on every night of the week the night we were there they had a live band on called Sixteria, what a band and the atmosphere was electric.
We will be going again very soon and will take a lot more people with us.
Well done The Boathouse

A large modern pub that sits by the canal. The interior is interesting, with seating made out in the shape of a canal barge, and the decor painted like the 'barge' is about to go into a tunnel. Canal memorabilia also decorates the walls. Staff were friendly, clientele, though mixed, were more to the younger side, perhaps the Manor Arms next door takes more of the oldies!

Beer was the usual taps, with a guest, that being Holdens Golden Glow, but i had the Theakston's Dark Smooth MILD, which i know is fakey, but is still nice.

More a place to visit for one, for me, i would spend more time in the Manor Arms, however, the younger crowd could do a lot worse than come here. They have music nights and plenty of space. Give it a go!
