| Visited Saturday early evening, 14 Jan 12. Although a Wetherspoon pub, it's one that was previously a pub so isn't a large barn. Sadly, this means that when it's busy, it's too crowded. We were there at 1900 on a Saturday and most of the tables were occupied and it was a bit of a meander to get through the tables to the toilet. I think the standard Wetherspoon table doesn't fit well enough in these numbers in such a small space. The best thing about this pub is that it's Wetherspoon cheap. But it's not as comfortable as other examples and not somewhere I expect to visit again soon unless it looked half-empty. sleepy_meerkat - 15 Jan 2012 15:09 |

| Seems like I follow the 'infamous' alezilla around and where is he hardly finds anything good to say about pubs I keep visiting fine ones. 'The Crown' is one of the better 'Spoons' boozers and has keept the character of the old place. Plenty of atmosphere with real locals. The bar staff are knowlegeable and the prices great!
