went in cricketers for the first time last week on a saturday and sunday and had a couple of great nights. the duo playing on saturday were okay but the duo playing on the sunday were fantastic!and yes the barmaids were friendly. toilets left a lot to be desired though. i can see myself becomoing a sunday regular and maybe saturday too!

Friday & Saturday nights are the best, the atmosphere is good, dont get any real trouble, just a few idiots like anywhere else.....Barmaids are the best, have a good banter with you, a couple of them always have a smile on their faces...... we like Zara she has to be the top barmaid, always smiling and friendly.... Rose, Lin and Kim are the same, think they just like their jobs....... ALL IN ALL TOP PUB.....FERGIE IS THE BEST

great music is about the only good thing going for the pub. beer is dear, staff on a sunday are friendly but who runs the place?! its a bit faceless really but as i say they do manage to get great live music in there. the band on a sunday are fantastic and saturdays are usually great too.

Further to last year's comments. Owners have painted everything white and removed the net curtains. It looks a little sterile now but an improvement none the less. The Empty bar I mentioned has been turned into a very nice (But expensive) wine bar called Oliver's. Rosie and Lin are still there (but for some strange reason Lin wants to be known as Lynn). However the Bouncers - Sean and Kevin - do not seem to be there anymore. Music and Atmosphere on Fridays and Saturdays as good as ever and Thursdays are becoming popular again. Visit on a Thursday to catch Rosie and Lin (AKA Lynn) in their best Banter mode.
