Cosy enough little pub on the main road up to the station, reasonable selection of beers, prices about par for the area. In a rare move for the local area it also shows the football, so worth visiting over other superior pubs in the local area if there's a match you want to see on at the time. Other than that, your money might be best directed to one of the myriad other good pubs within easy walking distance. Mr.Monkfish - 26 Sep 2011 18:29
decent pub to sit and watch the world go by. Harveys was ok. caskforce - 10 Feb 2011 17:59
Average pint of Harveys Sussex and not that welcoming. Sat outside keith253 - 7 Sep 2010 21:16
Having walked out of the Queens Head because of the filthy toilets; and I mean filthy! What a contrast only yards away. A small, but clean and welcoming place. Recommended. WILLIAMSTEW - 28 Jul 2010 22:40
Fairly nondescript sort of place and should do better being so close to the station, although it does have a lot of competition. The exterior was having a bit of a paint job when I was there and it could certainly do with it, it needs brightening up. Millay - 12 Jun 2009 00:02
