please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Although the interior of the pub is not nearly as pretty as the neighbouring Bridge Inn, a range of beer that includes the local Jennings and Thwaites breweries, plus the exceptional Coniston Bluebird (not to be missed), make up for this. Standard pub grub; non-smoking; walker-friendly. Defintely recommended.
