There's quite a few pubs in Pembroke Dock. Of the 4 I visited on a very blustery Saturday evening, only this one is listed on BITE. In fairness, it was probably the best of the 4. The pub is situated in the main station building. I arrived shortly after 8pm when the last train of the night was pulling in from Manchester. Inside, there were a small group of locals at the bar, with a few others scattered around the room. More arrived, presumably to see a band that was setting up. The 3 ales were Brew Monster Leviathan, Templeton Welsh Beest & Gower Up 'N' Under. The Up 'N' Under was decent enough. But those at the bar were moaning about the Welsh Beest. No real cider is served at this time of the year. Other pubs tried in Pembroke were the First & Last, Red Rose Inn and the Charlton Hotel.

Went for early evening meal today great salmon steak (7.95), served with seasonal veg and a quality mash ;) my dining partner had the inexpensive whilst heartily made chicken korma with lovely fluffy rice and poppadom (5.45). I also know (From passing with my dog) this pub rocks! (Live music on sats) slightly tired edges here and there but not enough to offend OCD sufferers, and personally i love the rail theme. all in all there is a decent vibe within this establishment! shall be back shortly, thanks

Pleasant enough conversion of station buildings into a pub and cafe. the Cwrw was drinkable enough and staff reasonably friendly on our visit. The limited opening hours do them no favours though. They could do a fair bit more trade if they worked it round certain train times.

Popped in while waiting for a train on a wet Friday lunch time.
3 real ales available.
Tried two, Croeso Pontyprid and the Beacons. Both in good condition.
Food looked good although I didn't have anything to eat.
Pub was quiet.
However, the staff were not very friendly and despite the sign on the door stating they closed at 2:45pm, I was asked to drink up and leave before 2.30.
This resulted in a 40 minute wait on a cold and damp railway platform.
Not very accomodating in view of the weather.
Will use the Flying Boat Inn when I'm next in town.
