Have avoided this pub in the past but with the Elephant & Castle closed gave it a try. Pleasantly surprised. Decent food and good service now make it well worth a visit.

I agree with the previous comment, at last we have a team running this lovely pub who care about their customers. Good beer, extensive menu and a warm welcome. Recommend you give it a try.

At last the pub is being run by a team who are giving it the right atmosphere for the village. The new chef served an excellent meal and catered for individual needs. A variety of quality real ales on tap. The Queen's Head is at long last, alive and well once again.

Just enjoyed an excellent Sunday roast washed down with a couple of well-conditioned pints of Harveys. The new landlord & landlady are very pleasant and attentive and our compliments to the chef. We will be back.

This pub is very welcoming. The owners are warm and friendly. If it is a quiet pub with good service, good food and a nice atmosphere then this is a great pub.
There is parking which is a bonus and is a real family pub.
I intend to go back again very soon and have one of their homemade pizzas which I believe are lovely.
