Great Pub well run by Friendly staff. glennon37 - 18 Nov 2011 00:04
Popped in last Monday lunchtime en route to our holiday in Suffolk and had a very nice pint of Wherry ( Would've had more but was driving :o( ) . Wife had the game casserole and I had the pork & duck pie. Both very good indeed. Very friendly and good example of what a village pub should be. lilchris - 23 Apr 2011 00:01
excellent olde Worlde thatched pub with open fires situated in the centre of Fulbourn village. Serving Adnams bitter and Broadside, Woodfordes Wherry, Greene King IPA and Westons Old Rosie scrumpy cider. Regular guest beers also feature. When I visited the beers were in excellent condition and the starff were extremely friendly. There is an A la carte menu. I didn't have a meal but judging by the number of diners on a Wednesday evening I would imagine the extensive menu provides for good eating. The Six Bells is well worth a visit if you are in the Cambridge area. Rhode_Runner - 12 Oct 2009 13:51
Last week I spent a day in Cambridge with Mr Dibbs, our retired greyhound, while my wife was working at OCR. By lunchtime I had had enough of wandering around the spires of academe, and as it was a warm day, a pint seemed just the thing. Coming from Nottingham, I have put all Greene King pubs on the blacklist which rather limted my options - they took over a perfectly good brewery, Hardys & Hansons of Kimberley, and closed it down. The next problem was finding a pub that allowed Mr Dibbs to come in and shelter from the heat of the midday sun. The only option was to get in the car and find one - step forward The Six Bells at Fulbourn, near Cambridge. If only more pubs were more welcoming to dogs.... Contempora - 27 Jul 2009 12:41
Many a good night spent in the Six Bells. Good changing selection of well kept real ale, decent food and a fantastic atmosphere. Quiz nights on Thursdays are packed. Friendy bar staff, plenty of parking, large garden, open fire, good food and beer - what more could you want? georgetig - 5 Feb 2008 20:30
