This is a very basic boozer with a standard draught selection and Oranjeboom available. There is a pool table and a dartboard in the bar area and I also spotted another pool table in the back room that looked like it had been done up for some kind of party. I thought that the governor was nice enough as were the locals who were glued to the racing on Sky during my weekday afternoon visit. I wouldn’t go out of my way to drink here again, but I feel that the rather low rating is a little harsh. Strongers - 28 Oct 2009 11:07
Unfortunately has been recussitated. I guess you could look on the bright side and say that it sucks in the Chavs and keeps them out of the few other reasonable pubs in the area. sonoftherock - 9 Jul 2009 09:45
Re-opens this week. Seems they closed it down for a week or two to tackle a rodent infestation. Don't think I'll be rushing in there. topdog_andy - 15 Mar 2008 12:26
