| Closed at the end of last football season. In the last few weeks, the building has been demolished. There is a new pub on the opposite corner, the Yorkshire Rose, yet to appear on here, which is a bit more family orientated. oftenscore6 - 21 Aug 2011 10:09 |
| Not sure why the pub has this name as it isn't near a market? En route to the football ground from the town centre, it is reasonably clean and friendly, but doesn't serve any real ales. Ale drinkers should nip up Hillhouse Lane to the Slubbers. oftenscore6 - 3 Apr 2006 12:36 |
