| Ah, bliss! An evening unencumbered by idiotic dance music and loud mouths. Jason and Nicola are beginning to attract the right crowd. By this I mean people who simply want a good night out without any hassle from local 'head the balls'. The 'Bowler' is well on its way to becoming the watering hole of choice for the more discerning drinker. By the way, the guest Twaites ale was excellent! | The Bowling Green continues to go from strength to strength under the expert management team and staff who set the standards for all other Horwich pubs to follow. | PissFlap - I assure you that neither myself (Nicola) or my husband (Jason) posted the comment to which you refer. We do not need to 'big up' what we are doing. Takings and public opinion speak for themselves. Yes, on busy nights, one of us will troll round the pub. We try to do this every 10-15 mins. And I'm glad that it has been noticed we do this. Maybe you should pay us a visit yourself, and give us a rating that you think we deserve.
