A bar over 2 floors with, as the name suggests, a cow orientated theme, (cowboy film posters, horns etc). Under the same ownership as the nearby Seven Stars, with a similar range of drinks on offer, (Adnams, Harveys, Bitburger, Aspells etc).

On the Saturday evening that we visited, almost all the tables were reserved for diners, (though there were stools at the bar to sit at), so it's really aimed at diners rather than people popping in for a casual drink. The Harveys Best was OK, if a little warm, but I can't see that I felt like staying for more than one.

It is a mixture of a Jazz bar/club and a Steak House. Strange layout, but brilliant food - as you can guess from the name they serve very nice steaks.

Not my type of pub at all.But i can see it being popular with a certain city type crowd.Guinness was ok(ish).Jazz music in the background(not my cup of tea)
The food did look good though.I dont eat burgers, but was sorely tempted to try theirs.
If you a Barrister and you want to taking a client out, could be a good choice but not really a night out with lads type place. And id think the owners would thank me for saying that.

Serves a good pint of Adnams (Broadside was off but nothing to say this was case, not even a tea towel over the pump) but there's not much else I can say in favour. Decor is bright, cheerful, and funky, staff friendly and the food looks good. Seems popular with loud suited City types and East European builder types who like to sit at the bar, eavesdrop your conversation, and glower at you over the top of their drink.

More a bar than a pub so not my style at all but others will love it.

This pub has now changed its name to the Bountiful Cow, and has strange cow shaped ash trays. Overall it is a bit strange but not unpleasant.
