Being in the centre of a tourist spot it is always full of holiday makers at the weekends. Thankfully it has a no children restriction inside (welcomes dogs though). Out of season, its great. On a cold winters night its lovely to walk across the quay and be welcomed by the friendly bar staff (who always have a couple of dog biscuits and a bowl of water at the ready for well behaved pets). Two real open fires, very cosy, good bar food and beer. Very nice indeed.

Last time I visited this pub I was ignored at the bar - which does not go down too well! Maybe they were very busy but no excuses really. Great location but could do so much better.

Cozy little pub. Unusually, the most recent refurb didn't ruin the character of the place. Good pint of Ringwood 49er. Not sure whether this is a Free House as stated on the sign outside however. Didn't try the food.

Great location in the summer when you can sit outside. Good choice of beers often including Ringwood "Specials"

Visited on a dull January day.Fabulous location, organised interior with friendly staff. Good beer. Good food reasonably priced but a little overboard with the chips, room for improvement. Toilets spotlessly clean.
