very friendly landlord nice real ale, some of the customers are a bit odd though! clangersmate - 12 Apr 2011 12:21
This is a Typical "Drinkers pub", with very traditional decor inside and features from the outside. Looked to very popular with the locals in the area and had pleasant & helpful bar staff. A good choice of 3-4 real ales, also good hearty sandwiches @ resonable prices. anfield95 - 8 Feb 2011 21:44
Decent ale, scary locals playing darts. Nice exterior rpf1955 - 26 Mar 2010 17:50
We use this place every time we go to Kingsholm. It screams "this is a pub" from the outside, and is no disappointment inside. I'm not an ale fan, but they had some which were apparently good. They also do Cheddar Valley cider, not my first choice but okay. All in all a proper pub with good barstaff, Sky TV, dartboard, and the regulars seem okay too. And there is a good picture/poster advertising matches by the dartboard. SW6 - 2 Mar 2006 12:51
