| This pub has recently been totally refurbished and changed from an old boozer to a much fresher pub appealing to everyone in the local community. It is much more family and female friendly. Also I found that it is now completely non-smoking which is great as there are no other pubs in the area like this (although it does have some facitlites outside for smokers). They have a really good Comedy Night plus loads of other events and they have started doing food - my experience so far is its tasty and pretty good value for money.
