| Friendly village pub in a nice setting with good food, well-kept beer and a good selection of wines. Food can be a bit of a wait at busy times but what do you expect if it is freshly cooked. Staff are friendly as are the locals. Scoopster - 22 Nov 2006 08:31 |
| Very much the centre of the village. Large restaurant part, smaller drinking bar, and the restaurant seems to take priority as far as the staff are concerned. Good wine list, and the ales are currently Spitfire and Timothy Taylor Landlord. It's OK, but as a visitor I felt I was intruding upon a private party.
