Pub seems to be improving with time but i had to stay in the accom once - very poor dont use it for anything but a drink. odbod - 25 Jun 2010 11:49
Pleasant old pub along the High Street in Stockbridge, with plenty of tables in which to enjoy a quiet pint. 4 real ales were on - Roosters Celtic Corker, Davenports Irish Whiskey Ale, Itchen Valley Fagins and Palmers Best Bitter. Stowford Press cider was also available. Didn't try the food. But the pub itself was very comfortable. blue_scrumpy - 8 Apr 2010 19:01
hi there just eaten at the three cups and was very impressed for this is just a pub, Fresh diver caught scollops cooked to perfection which is really rare even in the most top restaurants i had the solent seabass{once again wild] and my wife had the beef all very well cooked I must say that i dont agree with the other reveiws and for once it is a independant pud doing good fresh food. goodbeerplease - 30 Oct 2009 23:34
Not a bad pub at all. Beer is good, staff are friendly and overall very clean throughout. Nice beer garden. Can't comment on the food but everything else seems ok to me!! wolvesfan - 7 Sep 2009 12:01
Something positive - the beer was good, the problem was that the food was dreadful. I have to agree with flossieteacake that this was the worst pub that I have eaten at in the last 20 years. The soup was lukewarm, microwaved, and tasted as though it was out of a can, the duck terrine tasted more like turkey. The main course of beef and red wine pie was worse, completely tasteless, very little meat in the pie, it was mostly gravy, which was served with something that tasted very like smash. This was from the £12.95 special menu, but this is no excuse for such poor quality food. DO NOT BOTHER EATING HERE !!!!!! go somewhere else in the village. blackandwhitepointer - 19 Aug 2009 17:06
