My favourite pub easy. Great staff who will occasionally treat you with some cooked pub snacks (not of the greatest quality but its the thought that counts). This pubs is especially good if you like to play darts. Guinness is very well kept. campbellssource - 28 Feb 2009 10:38
Great pub been drinking in the area for quite a while and popped in during a footy game recently. Nice, and friendly pub, has sky no real ale as such fair pint of the black stuff and usual mix of lagers and cider etc. prices very reasonable run by a very nice irish crew think they have folk music as well now and again if thats your thing fergal, carol and all the staff seem very nice would recommend it, all you need now fergal is a quiz night mate. this and the dacre arms the best in the area by a mile, this just gets my vote now as it has later hours and also has sky. get in their........ notasipper - 12 May 2008 03:05
Sounds boring, but I too agree with the previous reviews. This is a wonderful pub. Real ale isn't its forte but it gets my vote as the 3rd best pint of Guinness I've ever been served. (Sackville in Dublin, James Joyce in Calgary are the best 2) A welcoming and friendly place in a neighbourhood devoid of decent boozers. Zaphod - 8 Nov 2007 17:16
Taken over from the Woodman as the best pub in Lee. Friendly staff and punters. Highly recomended. TheBlackStuff - 22 Apr 2007 15:49
A decent basic pub. Never really had a night out there but pop in from time to time for a pint and a read of the paper. Always made to feel welcome. Shatners_Bassoon - 28 Mar 2007 13:39
