A good refurb although now only one bar. Excellent food, I've eaten there three times now and not been dissapointed.Usually two real ales, Ringwood and Bombardier. More foody now than it used to be but there is still space at the bar for those that just want a beer.

Currently closed for a refurb, expected to be open again in the autumn.

Popped in there recently for a quick pint (literally). Friendly landlord and locals - gave me a hand with local transport information. I didn't eat but the food looked quite good. Nice surroundings, although I believe the toilets are scheduled for a refurb soon.

Now has a new Landlord and things are looking up. The menu is improved and the food still good. The beer range is now Ringwood Best and Goodards Fugle Dee Dum. It seems there are plans to extene/improve the kitchen and eating area but may involve the loss of the public bar, which will be a pity if it happens.

Not a bad pub for a quite drink, still got a public bar, but the talk is very much about tractors and hay makeing! We had a meal, in the other bar, not cheap £10 for a roast chicken, and I would discribe it as a microwaved cafe dinner, using catering quality food, it did used to be very good. Tried two real ales, not bad, drunk better.
