THIS PUB HAS ONLY ONE REAL ALE ON SALE,ST.AUSTELL TRIBUTE BUT IS SUPERBLY KEPT AT A SUPERB PRICE-£2.30.

IF EVER YOUR IN LUTON NEAR THE STATION POP IN AS IT IS THE ONLY FREEHOUSE IN LUTON,AS WELL AS BEING THE SMALLEST PUB IN TOWN.

A real "they don't make 'em like this anymore" sort of pub, somewhat hidden behind the plain frosted-glass windows of the narrow frontage. Quite full in the late afternoon (although this is not too difficult given the small bar area). Decent Tribute, and only £2.20/pint which is pretty remarkable given that a previous review indicates that it was £2.10 in 2006. Very much a locals place with an older clientele, but you could do a lot worse if waiting for a train at the nearby station and you don't mind the curious (but not hostile) looks from the other customers.

Gives the impression of being a social club for the local Irish community, and a pretty good one at that. It’s small size means that everyone has to get on together. A couple of large fans keep everyone cool. Unfortunately the Tribute was off but the Guinness was good, as you’d expect.

I used to boycott this pub, being a Luton Town fan and this being a Benskins (Watford brewery) pub. Thankfully I'm not so anal these days, although I'd never actually drink their beer.

Anyway, this is a great tiny Victorian pub - seemingly unchanged for years. With most pubs around going from terrible refurb to terrible refurb, this makes it an absolute treasure. Original green tiling throughout, but this place is so old fashioned you can't help thinking of it in black and white.

Tiny Irish pub with Victoriana fireplace, original tiling and period pub furniture. Cask Tribute at £2.10 a pint. No food but lots of smaoke. You'll either love it or hate it.
