| I see the art of fine literature is not dead. The place may well be a "hole" but if this is the best you can do you're better off leaving it to adults. As it happens I can't stand the place either because it tends to be full of teenagers. The general policy of the place is not what I want in a pub (or bar) i.e. cheap drinks, loud music & young clientelle with bad attitude. They don't want me, I don't want them and never the twain. | this used to be my favourite pub! went there pretty much everytime i went out. resonable priced drinks. they now serve food which is good cuz theres always piss heads in there which need sobreing up. good music. thats if u like the 80's and early 90's stuff. needs more toilets, and someone is always in there cleaning and offering hand towels, and sweets and stuff to buy. which is good. only thing is, in the last 6 months, old people have taken over. im talkin old as in their 40's. rubbish now cause of them. they need to start appealing to the younger age group like an R&B night, there are some left as swindon has been taken over emo people...so remember us R&b lovers!! good bouncers, always a que tho. wen u get in there again old people. but the bar staff are very very friendly! oh and they charge for water and wont even give you a glass of water for free which i think is wrong. you kinda get put off with the boy racers always lurking outside. swindongal - 1 Jun 2006 06:35 |
