I agree with the comments below. Met a friend here recently and wished I hadn't. The place reeks of cigarette smoke and everyone seems to be shouting at each other all the time.

Full of shouting idiots and a lousy selection of drinks. A real pity considering that from the outside, it looks as if it might be nice.

I agree with cowabunga. Went in there recently with my family, I had to ask the bar maid if it was open as there were no lights on. Small group of nicely dressed 1980s ghosts at the end of the bar though and oh, I do like 80s music, but not cloudy London Pride! Perhaps they were waiting to fire up the Quattro. I decided to sit in the beer garden. It was as if the crew had left the ship. What a shame.

Beautiful looking pub, but an unwelcoming kind of place with nothing on tap to tempt, no food and boorish clientel on the ocassion I went there. Desperately needs investment/new pub company to take it over.

lovely pub great country feel. cosy and clean.friendly staff. large plasma for sports, pizza menu tea and coffee. fantastic beer garden at rear. dart board, quiz machine.extensive draught largers and well kept ales. tucked away in a quiet little side street. a real gem of a pub.
