No, please ignore the last and last but two comments. Last but one is spot on; for a pub advertising itself as "last pub before France", you should at least be able to buy a decent pint, rather than Whitbread's Best & Boddington's fizz, even if it's only Ringwood Best. Interesting location, bijou size, but a few pictures of boats and twirls of ropes don't do anything for me, in terms of atmosphere.

Getting better all the time!
The landlord's a nice bloke, and watch out for things moving unexpectedly.. (There's possibly a ghost!)
Starting to use this place more, due to "The Potters" being closed on a few occasions.
Sky Sport's normally on, and it's friendly but you do need to talk to the barstaff to get a rappour going..

Please ignore "Hopsucker" and try it... (It's worth a go!)

I've only rated it a 6, but it's getting better all the time....

Advertises itself as the last pub before the ferry. However, if you want a pint of bitter, you've gone too far. The walls may be interestingly decked out, but the bar is only decorated with fizz dispensers. Landlady / barmaid unfriendly.

An interesting little pubon the docks. When you walk in you will probably be taken back by the decorations.Ships wheels, flags, framed currency on the walls and maritime ornaments everywhere.A mans pub, most of the locals are working men or military types. One word of warning when staggering out of this pub watch the road aslorries fly round the bend about 15 yards from the pub entrance.
