| 17th century village local owned by greene king and run for many years by Richard Roberts. A one bar pub has open fires in winter. reasonable food at lunchtimes with very good Thai in evenings. No tv or music box but was running jazz evenings on mondays 91st or 2nd of month i think. Worth a visit just to meet Dave the barman!( been there so long now he's on the pub inventory)If you study human psychology this guy will give you a case study you'll never forget, a lesson in attitude you just won't believe!!! anonymous - 11 Dec 2006 04:25 |
