A bit of a dive, in a God-forsaken location next to a busy roundabout. Irish-owned, there are no real ales despite the 3 handpulls. Eagle & Bombardier pump clips were both turned around. The Eagle Smooth was about the best option. But that was particularly poor. Choice language from the locals. blue_scrumpy - 13 Aug 2011 11:13
Traditional community pub, selling a reasonable pint of Eagle IPA. Seemed friendly enough as well, so I can't understand the current low rating of 4.5 given the last three reviews below. rpadam - 29 Sep 2008 21:23
Pleasant enough pub and a decent pint of Eagle IPA. southdown12jack - 23 Apr 2007 12:56
Vastly improved since the refurbishment. Never used to drink there as it was awful, now pop in from time to time as it makes a change from the high street pubs. Friendly and decent pint of Eagle. pjk - 31 Oct 2006 20:29
A proper pub, not great but beer ok and a jukebox spatenall - 22 Sep 2006 16:50
