used this pub many times when i had the harrow, just up the road, found it very friendly and always with good banter from the locals, not been there for years, but will return when in the area...kev kevincarter - 18 Oct 2011 17:04
This is undoubtedly the best pub in Caterham Valley. It's a locals pub but it's welcoming to newcomers. The locals are all really friendly as well. There's a decent selection of wine and cider, good value food, large beer garden with patio heaters, brilliant music and a seriously sexy bar man, who's now running the place. All staff very proficient and friendly. Carliecatface - 18 Oct 2011 15:39
Not a bad place. Traditional type. Not bad booze some of the people can be a bit chavvy so watch who you bump into. Barbon - 26 Aug 2011 18:20
A good pub for a few swift after work drinks. Don't bother with the food, deep fried crap. Nothing healthy on the menu, the menu itself looks like a wimpy menu from days of old. Good for a few Friday night beers though if you happen to be in the area, not much choice for a better pub in Caterham Valley. Spiritandmixer - 26 Oct 2010 16:23
probably the best pub in the valley but theres really not much choice.dunno why they bothered to do it up ,no difference, other than framing the tv's (bad idea).the food prices hit sky high but not to bad now as they do 2 for £10,beer still expensive though, and theres some barmaid who does everything in her power not to serve me...dunno why scunny58 - 16 Sep 2009 15:35
