OK beer however the pub is either empty or unfortunately it attracts swearing rough blokes and not a lot else! Living near the pub, we have also noticed a few fights there.

Shame about the miserable git in a postman's uniform who asked me not to swear when an important football match was on the telly. His daughter was mortified and went on to call him a f**king w**ker. I'm having trouble working that one out.

Dodgy clientele = dubious boozer.

Other then that I thought it was generally ok but I won't be spending any more money there.

Thankfully this place does not adhere too strictly to the oirish "a-stranger-is-a-friend-you-haven't-met-yet" formula, and neither does it reek of disinfectant as most Durty Nelly Scruffy O Murphy Neills places are prone to do. In fact, MMs could almost be described as eclectic - Moroccan-style straw chests for example (empty unfortunately). Good, semi-boisterous atmosphere, wish we could have stayed to watch the Weather Men who were due on stage at 9pm.
