Amongst the best pubs in East Dorset. A warm, friendly, traditional hostelry with a welcoming open fire and cosy surrondings ,and small secluded garden opposite Wimborne Cricket Ground. Real ales, varied food menu. Breakfasts on sat and sun mornings. Curry nights on wed . Free pool on thursdays 5-11 also lunch times during week.happy hour monday 2 thursdays 5-7 £2.00 a pint £2.00 glass of wine. chilledphill - 8 Apr 2008 09:46
The last reviewer must have been unlucky as I have always enjoyed a nice pint of Ringwood here - it is great to find a decent pub in Wimborne that isn't tied to Badger. It does get very busy, especially when a big sporting event is on, as already mentioned, and also on Friday and Saturday nights. I don't know if it has changed hands recently but I called in at a lunchtime recently and was told they have stopped doing food. hockey - 12 Mar 2007 20:16
Proberbly the worst pint ever, nice staff but terrible pint and pub filthy. anonymous - 8 Aug 2006 14:12
I really enjoy this pub when it's not too busy. It becomes busy when there's a game on that everyone wants to see and becomes totally crammed on friday and saturday nights. The beer is good and the food is usually quite good too. gilgamesh - 25 Feb 2006 11:56
