Anon says - not suitable for women. He means not suitable for jibby horses. It does look like a bloke pub but the ales are kepted well and taste gorgeous. You can also get a pint jug if you want, great.

My favourite pub in town; more of a man's pub, or rather not suitable for women - not enough glam and/or good looking blokes, probably.

I drink Courage's Best bitter; it's exactly the right temperature, whatever that is; certainly better than the pint i'd get if I visited the Cross Keys, for example.

This pub is rather small, but has pool table, quiz machine, two fuit machines, jukebox: what more do you need?!

Staff are not much good though; seem to me to be some what disinterested, inattentive, and give the impression customers are an inconvenience. The owners seem really pleasent though; but are seldom there, and rarely behind the bar when I am ever there.

Perhaps the most unwelcoming pub in Witney. Go in and be ignored by staff and customers alike. It gets so busy that they do not even have to pretend to be friendly - and surely £2.75 a pint is excessive?

This pub has character. It always has an interestng range of beer on - although this does not necessarily mean it is good beer!

This pub does get busy, but you can stand outside with a pint looking across Church Green.

Opens at 10am each day of the week except Sundays.

We were on holiday in the area looking for real ale, and felt welcome in this pub while enjoying the beer.
