Popped in on a Sunday evening for a quick pint on my way back from somewhere else. No real beer, so I had a Guiness, which was OK. The karaoke was fun, in a naff kind of way. Small, rather snug pub, with quite a lot of people who seemed to know each other. Not at all scary. Though a bit middle-aged. Definitely a local. bob_brown - 3 Dec 2007 20:15
Dread walking home past this pub due to the aggressive kids hanging around outside. Have avoided going in so far. anonymous - 25 Mar 2007 20:51
Looks like a dark scary place. Always builders talking on their bloody phones outside. Much to the annoyance of the neighbours. I'm sure you could pick up some cheap electrical goods here. I also hear people use this place for a white nosed pick me up. Having said that, the stupidly loud karaoke sounds fantastic. davefrom78 - 15 Nov 2006 15:09
No cask ale. Plastic plants. Dingy. Looks good outside with a vivid plant display. Inside is dark and unpleasant. Had the Stella which was fizzy but acceptable. SilkTork - 15 Aug 2005 22:17
| This is a very nice back street pub. Your greeted with nice friendly staff and made welcome by the landlord and his wife. Entertainment is on a sunday where there is some real talented singers. the atomsphere is bubbly and welcoming. There is noise controll fitted in the pub so you are not left with ringing in your ears as suggested.Thursday afternoon a nice spread of various food is served free of charge to customers.
