| Not to be confused with the Marlborough Arms in Woodstock. Rather disappointed, kept waiting an hour before anyone came to take our order - when they did, we were just getting up from the table to take our leave. They did apologise, and blamed a large party arriving half an hour late - well tough, it should be them that should be kept waiting not the rest of the patrons that arrived on time! We were not happy and told them so, but were assured once ordered our food would arrive asap...and it was, but they could have offered a free drink or at least made some apology during the hour waiting time, unfortunately they did not and the food when it did arrive was OK, I had no reason to complain, but then no reason to recommend it either.
