user reviews of the Red Lion, Deddington

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Wadworth Henry's IPA and St Austell Tribute were the 2 handpulls on sale yesterday afternoon - both pretty unusual for this part of the world. The Tribute was good enough for me to have a couple. It's a perfectly OK pub in a very small market town.

Not great on the beer front, no real ale on at all when we went, though there were two pumps visible so perhaps we picked a bad night. Very local feeling crowd but friendly enough. Loud music inside and a bit lacking in atmosphere. Prob the best part is sitting out front of the old building with a good view of the market square.

The young persons pub in Deddington, but still not boisterious. Pricey food that is eaten in the public area. The furniture is odd, concrete tables indoors, all a bit 60's. It's ok.
