user reviews of the Bell Inn, Crowmarsh Gifford

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Used to go in here often after football in the village.
Revisited last week def seems a cleaned up version of its previous incarnation.
Real ale choice typical GK BUT did have on Conker Bonker seasonal ale which was excellent.
Bell is like Ronseal but it does it well.

Spatious with formulaic food and bog-standard beers. As a Hungry Horse, the facilities and approach are very predictable but the Bell is well run and it does provide an affordable options for families.

I have lived in the village for over 15 years, and have used the Bell many times, and have seen the pub go through its bad and good times.

A new landlady took the pub over a few months ago, and we can all see the difference she is making, the place is so clean, the food is fabulous, and the staff are happy to be at work and look very smart. The manager Lindsay has always got a smile on her face and is always happy to talk and help where ever she can. She has got big plans for the pub and most of them are currently in place or have been done (outside tables, which she painted hereself) the cleaniness and the childrens new play area) i think the company should be very very proud of her and would hope there is more managers out there! she has made such a difference in such a short time........we hope she never goes and very excited what the future holds for our local.

If your looking for a quiet dinner or somewhere to take your children/family then this place is the place to go!

A Hungry Horse so I guess you know what you're getting! Average, but useful for families.
